KP Offroad Customz Limited Lifetime Warranty

KP Offroad Customz stands behind the quality and workmanship of our products. Our Intermittent Wiper Controllers are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service following proper installation.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and remains in effect for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the controller was originally installed. The warranty is non-transferable and does not continue if the controller is removed and installed on another vehicle.

Products purchased directly from KP Offroad Customz or through an authorized KP Offroad Customz dealer receive the same warranty coverage.

If a covered Intermittent Wiper Controller is determined by KP Offroad Customz to have failed due to a defect in materials or workmanship, KP Offroad Customz will, at its discretion, repair or replace the controller. Any replacement product remains covered under the original purchaser’s existing warranty and does not begin a new warranty period.

Warranty Claim Process

Before returning a product, please contact KP Offroad Customz so we can assist with troubleshooting by phone or email. Many issues can be identified and resolved without returning the controller.

When contacting us, please provide:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase

  • Your name and contact information

  • Vehicle year, make, and model

  • A complete description of the issue

  • A description of any troubleshooting steps already attempted

If the issue cannot be resolved through troubleshooting, KP Offroad Customz may request that the controller be returned for inspection and evaluation.

The customer is responsible for shipping the product to KP Offroad Customz. If the warranty claim is approved, KP Offroad Customz will cover standard shipping of the repaired or replacement controller back to the customer.

What Is Covered

This Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur during normal use when the controller is properly installed and operated in an approved application.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage, failure, or malfunction caused by:

  • Improper installation or failure to follow installation instructions

  • Installation on an application not specifically approved by KP Offroad Customz

  • Use with aftermarket wiper motors, switches, wiring harnesses, relay systems, or other non-approved components

  • Incorrect voltage, reversed polarity, short circuits, electrical surges, jump-starting damage, charging-system problems, battery faults, or other vehicle electrical problems

  • Broken, damaged, altered, or improperly connected terminals or connectors

  • Water intrusion resulting from improper installation or placement

  • Pressure washing or direct high-pressure water exposure

  • Fire, collision, accident, impact, or other physical damage

  • Rodents, insects, or animal damage

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or operation outside the product's intended purpose

  • Cutting, splicing, or altering the controller wiring

  • Opening or modifying the controller enclosure

  • Modification or repair of the PCB or electronic components

  • Alteration, replacement, or modification of factory-installed connectors

  • Unauthorized modification or repair of the product

Normal cosmetic wear that does not affect product operation is also not considered a warrantable defect.

Labor and Other Expenses

This warranty applies to the KP Offroad Customz Intermittent Wiper Controller only.

KP Offroad Customz does not cover costs associated with:

  • Product removal or reinstallation

  • Vehicle diagnostics or troubleshooting labor

  • Dealer or repair-shop labor

  • Towing or transportation

  • Vehicle downtime or loss of use

  • Lost income or business interruption

  • Damage to other vehicle components

  • Other incidental or consequential expenses, except where prohibited by applicable law

 Commercial and Fleet Use

The same Limited Lifetime Warranty terms apply when the product is installed on rental, commercial, agricultural, municipal, fleet, or other work-use vehicles, provided the controller remains installed on the original vehicle and all other warranty requirements are met.
